I am currently a LPCA under the supervision of Sandy Quast, LPCS of Coastal Haven Counseling. 

As a child, adolescent and adult counselor, I am passionate about helping others through life's challenges. My goal is to provide a safe space to support growth, transparency, and change. I work with individuals, families and couples to facilitate goals, provide coping skills, and improve overall understanding of how to utilize these in everyday life, school, and home. I utilize several techniques including: EMDR, Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), TF-CBT, Mindfulness, Christian Counseling, and Person-Centered. I am also a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator for Marriage Counseling.

I am currently a LPCA under the supervision of Sandy Quast, LPCS of Coastal Haven Counseling.  I look forward to working with you and supporting you on this journey as we navigate life's everyday challenges together!

Kayla O'Riley, LPCA

The journey of mental health is a long, winding road. Sometimes it is hard to find direction, and taking the step to seek counseling is one of the bravest things someone can do!  Although the road may have construction, detours, or stop signs, my goal is to support you through the obstacles you face in life's greatest challenges.

By using a person-centered approach, my goal is to help you work through whatever you're going through, learn more about yourself, and develop a healthy lifestyle so you can be the best person you can be.  Working with ages 5 to 35, I use techniques such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Christian-based Therapy, Play Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.

I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University and graduated from Capella University with my Master's degree in 2023. I am currently a LPCA under the supervision of Sandy Quast, LPCS of Coastal Haven Counseling. 

With a heart for helping others and a passion for making a difference, I am committed to walking alongside clients on their journey towards healing and growth.

Specializing in working with children, adolescents, and adults, I bring a unique blend of empathy and expertise to every session. Whether navigating the complexities of childhood, the challenges of adolescence, or the transitions of adulthood, I strive to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions, confront their obstacles, and find their way forward.

I use a combination of education, and twenty seven years of experience in the field of Mental Health, Addiction Counseling, and Clinical Supervision. Experience includes: Intensive Inpatient, Offender Based, Outpatient Mental Health, Addiction, Private Practice, Adolescents, Children, Marriage & Family and Group Counseling. Developed and presented numerous Workshops, Lectures, Clinical and Supervision Trainings. Experienced Telehealth Counselor.  I am dedicated to providing quality Mental Health and Addiction Treatment to those seeking services. My work for 27 years includes Individual, Family and Children.

I work with clients with Anxiety, Depression, Depressive Disorders, Grief, Addictions, Trauma, Personality Disorders, Crisis Counseling, Couples Counseling and more. I work with teens, individuals and couples. Together we will work towards positive change, and a new way of living.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, couples counseling, sexual abuse, life changes, LGBTQ issues, bipolar, OCD, phobias, weight loss issues, abusive relationships, phobias, school pressure and stress and relationship difficulties.
